University of Montana School of Law Students Launch Business and IP Blog to Assist the Montana Business Community

The Business and Intellectual Property student interest group within the University of Montana School of Law is comprised of about 25 law students and several faculty advisors. We’ll be updating a new blog http://mtbzip.com/ every week (when school is in session) with a recent case that will have an impact on the Montana business community. About half will deal more specifically with patent, trademark and copyrights issues.

Our goal is to be more integrated into the local business and business law community. We will be happy to add your name to the list so you get our meeting announcements if you will send an email to Adam Wade at [email protected].

Occasionally we will have local or visiting attorneys in to discuss legal issues that may be relevant to local businesses. Our next planned speaker will talk about legal issues in Mergers and Acquisitions.
