Twitter chat is shaping Montana education – 8 p.m. on Tuesdays

At the beginning of this year, Montana was one of only eight states in the country without an organized chat on Twitter about education.

Teachers Jessica Anderson and Crista Anderson changed that at the end of February, and two weeks ago tweets in the chat were viewed by 2.35 million people.

"It’s connecting people who have new, innovative and creative ideas together, so they can share their ideas and grow their ideas even bigger," Crista said.

The chat, which begins at 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and lasts one hour, connects users by using the hashtag #MTedchat.
