Bozeman-based Chisel Industries raises $50K for Butte documentary – "Orphan Girl"

A Bozeman company that made a film about Butte raised $51,318 for its "Orphan Girl" short documentary, which premieres at the Mother Lode Theater on Sept. 11.

Chisel Industries http://www.chiselindustries.com/ , in conjunction with state and local partnerships, surpassed its fundraising goal of $38,750 on its Kickstarter campaign, which ended Monday.

The next component of the ongoing "The Spirit of Butte" economic development project: "Modern Mavericks," a montage of 20 interviews of modern Butte business success stories "as shining examples of innovation – and what can be accomplished in Butte," said film director Yarrow Kraner.
