RCEDA receives grants for three rural projects

"We enjoy doing work here and we couldn’t do it if you didn’t have an organization like Julie Foster and her staff," said Preite. "There’s not a lot of money in this program, but Julie wrote three grants and we are funding all three of them. This represents about 35 percent of all the money we have in Montana, so go Julie!"

The United States Department of Agriculture’s state director for Montana visited the Ravalli County Economic Development Authority http://www.rceda.org/ on Wednesday to provide funding for local businesses – boosting the Bitterroot Valley economy.

USDA state director Anthony J. Preite presented funds from the Rural Business Enterprise Grants (RBEG) program totaling $59,700 for three rural projects to RCDEA executive director Julie Foster.
