Can Universities Use Data to Fix What Ails the Lecture?

UM’s leaders believe the university needs to become more data-savvy in order not to be left behind.

Traditional universities also may be less well set up to adapt to a culture of accountability. At research universities in particular, professors face less pressure to use technology to measure and modify the classroom experiences they are delivering to students.
