Sony’s The Road to Greatness is Coming to Great Falls, Montana

Hello everyone! Josh Hughes from Team KAIZEN here with some amazing news!

A few weeks ago, we sent out the call-to-arms asking people to vote for our entry in Sony’s The Road to Greatness Contest. 4 winner cities would be chosen partially based on the public vote and partially based on the pitch made by the PlayStation fan on behalf of their city.

Through a campaign that could only be described as a landslide, Great Falls DOMINATED the competition, ending at 450 votes (more than double that of second place, we were the only entry to break 300 and 400 votes!). I seriously lost track of how many times people notified us on Twitter and FaceBook of their daily votes, the support was overwhelmingly awesome! Now, as of 3 PM today, we are allowed to tell you all what we found out earlier this week:

GREATNESS IS COMING TO THE FALLS!

That’s right! Thanks to all your hard work, the PlayStation Greatness Awaits Truck (basically their E3 booth on wheels–complete with games, prizes and the ability to play/see PlayStation games not hitting retail for a year or more) will be making a stop in Great Falls for a FREE event on Saturday, August 23rd! With exactly a month to go before the Greatness Awaits Truck arrives in the Electric City, more details are being planned out as we speak. We will be sure to share those details as we are able to, but for now clear your calendars for the 23rd and let’s get ready to have a city wide gaming party!!

*Yes, we’re aware the 23rd isn’t on Sony’s official calendar yet-but we’ve been told that’s the day they’re coming through so that’s the day we all need to prep for.

**Exact location the truck will set up at in Great Falls will be determined soon and announced as soon as we have it.

Thank you so much everyone! You all helped bring Greatness to the Falls!

Josh
