Ivy League MBAs distilling knowledge at Headframe Spirits in Butte, Montana

Headframe Spirits http://www.headframespirits.com/ships its Butte-distilled liquors and equipment all over the country. This week, it’s getting some extra help from the rest of the nation.

Headframe is hosting four 2014 graduates of Columbia University’s Masters of Business Administration program. They’re part of the grassroots program, MBAxAmerica http://mbaxamerica.com/ , which plucks graduates of top business schools out of their cubicles and sprinkles them across the country.

They partner with small businesses, lending their Ivy League expertise to real-world problems, and in return, gain practical experience a classroom can’t replicate.

Courtney McKee, one of Headframe’s owners, met one of the program’s founders, Casey Gerald, last summer at the Red Ants Pants Music Festival http://redantspantsmusicfestival.com/ near White Sulphur Springs.

Talk about serendipity.
