Conference prepares Butte’s future leaders

"When a community acts like youth matter and listens to them," she said, "it changes the town."

Melissa Ruschetti knows Butte inside and out. The to-be senior at Montana Tech graduated from Butte High School. She’s seen what’s good, what’s bad, and everything in between. And now she wants the chance — as a young adult — to lead her community.

"We’re in it; we know what’s going on," she said.
