Montana State University scores big with newest recruit – Dr. Renee Reijo Pera, Vice President of Research and Economic Development

Today, during the Prospera Business Network annual luncheon, MSU’s new Vice President of Research and Economic Development was the keynote speaker.

Dr. Renee Reijo Pera, 54, hails from Stanford University where she ran a successful stem cell research lab. She says her main area of focus at MSU will be on Parkinson and Cardiomyapathy.

But her larger mission is to expand research at MSU. Today, she shared her thoughts on why she thinks she can help make MSU the premier center for research and technology in the Rocky Mountain West.
