Please Take the Survey – Montana Department of Commerce Montana’s Consolidated Plan

You are invited to complete the Housing and Community Development survey, which will take less than 10 minutes of your time. Your responses will help the Montana Departments of Commerce (MDOC) and Public Health and Human Services (MDPHHS), guide housing, community and public facilities, and economic development policy and actions that will be addressed through Montana’s five-year Consolidated Plan.

MDOC and MDPHHS are currently developing a five-year plan for housing, community and public facilities, and economic development investment in the state. This plan is known as the "Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development," which is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The planning process is intended to comprehensively fulfill three basic goals: to provide decent housing, to expand economic opportunities, and to provide a suitable living environment. The plan also depends on the opinions and experiences of people who are knowledgeable about housing, community, and economic development in Montana – people like you.

To establish the goals in the Consolidated Plan, we encourage you to complete the Housing and Community Development online survey. Comments gathered during this survey will be used to create narratives for inclusion in the Consolidated Plan. Your individual comments will remain anonymous and will be compiled with all other responses by an outside vendor.
