Big data can be a big help to any city including yours
Is this your city?
One opportunity to better use data is in employment services.
Data and analytics could also assist the mayor on public safety and disaster preparedness.
However, data can also be used to prevent crises from occurring in the first place.
Unfortunately, the city’s openness toward data has not extended to the Police Department.
Analytics can improve educational opportunities.
The city should strive to make school data and student education information easily available to administrators and other authorized personnel to better allocate teaching and disciplinary resources.
A comprehensive data strategy would build on past successes, improve the city’s economic and social well-being, and help city government better meet the needs of its citizens.
