25 New Certified ScrumMasters Graduate in Bozeman Thanks to ikuw Solutions

Last week was a milestone week of training in Bozeman with a great group of professionals who took the time to invest 2 days to learn about the agile framework, Scrum. Because of their efforts in the classroom and the test, every one of the participants earned the highly sought after certification of Certified ScrumMaster.

"One of our goals is to provide opportunities for people to learn about the advantages of using agile methods like Scrum", said Kevin McManus. "We’ve been using Scrum at ikuw since we started in 2007 and we are now expanding our influence and partnering with industry leaders in agile coaching and training to promote and educate people in Montana on the benefits of Scrum and agile".

Scrum is an agile framework that is used to deliver products in short cycles, improve communication and feedback, adapt to changing requirements and provide a built-in focus on continual improvement. Although the agile philosophy was originally vetted in the software development community, frameworks such as Scrum are finding application in other industries, including advertising and logistics.

Leeanne McManus, President of ikuw Solutions and one of the new Certified ScrumMasters added, "We had such a great time in the training, there were a ton of hands on activities and group exercises that really brought the concepts to life". "Tom and Kevin did a great job delivering the class, so much so that we’re running another Certified ScrumMaster and Certified Scrum Product Owner class in Helena mid-June".
