Montana taxes are less than average

It may not seem like it, but Montanans are taxed 5 percent less than the national average, according to an analysis by the website WalletHub.

Montana ranked 18th in terms of annual taxes paid, with people in Wyoming taxed the least and New Yorkers the most.
