"I came up to Montana and fell in love with the place, and kept coming back for 12 years," he said. "While up here, I began to stay and do business, working with exporters and doing some financing seminars. There is a lot of exporting done by Montana businesses."
He saw an opportunity to make Montana his home when the SBA leadership post came vacant.
