Report: Montana has lowest obesity rate in U.S.
March 8, 2014 /
Montana has the lowest obesity rate in the nation, according to a new Gallup-Healthways poll, overtaking Colorado, which had held that title for three years. Mississippi is the most obese state.
The telephone poll conducted during 2013 included a random sample of nearly 180,000 people and required them to report their height and weight, which was then used to calculate the body mass index of respondents.
