National parks brought 4.5M visitors, $400M to Montana in 2012

National parks drew almost 4.5 million people to Montana in 2012, and they spent more than $400 million in the state, according to a report released Monday by the National Park Service.
Here in northwestern Montana, Glacier National Park http://www.nps.gov/glac/index.htm accounted for nearly 2.2 million visitors and $172 million spent in communities near the park, the report says.
