Program makes it easier for Montana businesses to be green

More and more area businesses are going green, and getting recognition for it.

More than two dozen now can say they are certified green by Lewis and Clark County’s "Green Business Program," according to Sustainability Director Elisa Prescott.

The program, begun in fall of 2012, aims to encourage and recognize businesses in Broadwater, Jefferson and Lewis and Clark counties that make a commitment to sustainable practices.
