Warren Miller Performing Arts Center in Big Sky celebrates debut season

On the wall in the entry of the new Warren Miller Performing Arts Center http://www.warrenmillerpac.org , a skier flies over what is likely the most famous line from William Shakespeare’s "As You like it." "All the world’s a stage," it says.

Though the quote on the wall doesn’t go further into Jaques’ speech, the idea that all the men and women are players in life’s theater is a fitting reflection of an arts center driven to bring innovative and adventurous performances to a town mainly known for its slopes. As its namesake, the center chose Warren Miller, part-time Big Sky resident and filmmaker at the forefront of combining the arts and outdoor sports.

"Just because people move to a ski resort doesn’t mean that they move away from the arts," Miller said in a promotional video for the center. The video is available here. http://vimeo.com/70491925
