Sandberg: Working women should ‘lean in’ to their ambitions
Even after writing a best-selling book that urges women to "lean in" to their careers, Facebook executive Sheryl Sandberg says she’s still sometimes surprised to find she doesn’t have the same confidence that men bring to leadership roles.
Sandberg, who is one of the most powerful women in Silicon Valley, told a tech audience Wednesday night about a project meeting at Facebook earlier this year, where she opened the meeting by saying she was grateful the company had finally decided to pursue an idea she had long championed. A male manager who also supported the idea was more brash, saying he always knew the others would see the light.

Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg leans into gender bias, laundry sex at Dreamforce
On a more humorous note, she said she was also surprised her book has caused a run on laundry detergent.
