BSU launches entrepreneurship program, The StartUp Shop

Boise State University is preparing to launch The StartUp Shop, which will connect potential entrepreneurs with industry experts to critique their business ideas.

The StartUp Shop will be coordinated through the university’s Center for Entrepreneurship and The TECenter.

The StartUp shop will field plans for start-ups from aspiring founders. The writers of the strongest proposals will be selected to appear before a panel of professionals to hear their "elevator pitch," or brief description of the business plan. Panel members will offer advice about possible tweaks to the plan and how to get started.
