A positive change: Mentoring program helping Montana middle school girls. What is your community doing?

Once a week, about 25 eighth-grade girls at East Middle School meet with a cadre of mentors to discuss their goals, their challenges and their ambitions.
The mentorship program, sponsored by Great Falls YWCA and Bethel AME Church, is in its first year and it’s off to a good start, according to Pastor Anna Jones, one of the program’s organizers.
"It’s a challenge but it’s fun seeing the girls change into positive people," said Jones.
