REC in Butte lays off 26 employees

The Renewable Energy Corp. office in Butte laid off 26 employees this morning due to a weak technologies market.

Richard Green, the Butte operations director, told KXLF on Wednesday afternoon that the layoff announcement was made Wednesday morning to the plant’s 294 employees at the facility southwest of Butte.
