MSU International Education Week, Nov. 4-8, focuses on global leadership

Leadership in an international setting will be the focus of Montana State University’s International Education Week 2013, set Nov.4-8. All events are free and open to the public.

Global Leadership week will salute MSU’s Year of Engaged Leadership and the leadership roles MSU students may play abroad. Activities during the week will include lectures, student panels, film and a story hour at the Bozeman Public Library, all focusing on global leadership.

"The MSU Strategic Plan calls for preparing our students to be world leaders," said Norman Peterson, director of MSU’s Office of International Programs. "Increasingly, our graduates need to assume leadership positions in borderless careers. International Education Week will explore the exciting issues involved in leadership in a transnational, cross-cultural context."
