Montana students rank higher than most countries in math and science

Montana students are doing better in math and science than students in most countries, according to the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP).

The study compares the national and international assessment scales from 2011. It finds that Montana eighth graders outperform countries like England and Sweden, and Canadian provinces Alberta and Ontario in Math and Science.
