Bozeman, Montana technology company joins others with hopes to expand

A Bozeman company is part of a massive merger of home technology businesses across the western U.S. that has formed one of the largest ultra-high-end home technology firms in the country. It took about 16 months to complete, but Studio AV, a local company, joined five other businesses in late August to become Via International. The other organizations are Engineered Environments and DSI Entertainment Systems in California, Cyber Sound and Security in Arizona, Paragon Technology Group in Colorado and S3 Aurant in Utah. Home technology companies install items such as automatic blinds, hidden media devices, lighting functions and theater systems.
