MSU announces finalists, public forums for vice president for research position

Researchers and educators from California, Texas and Ontario are finalists for the position of Montana State University vice president for research, creativity and technology transfer.

The finalists are, in order of their visit to campus: Renee Reijo Pera, director of the Center for Reproductive and Stem Cell Biology and director of the Center for Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Research and Education at Stanford University in Stanford, Calif.; Karlene Hoo, professor of chemical engineering at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas; and Rui Wan, vice president of research, economic development and innovation at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Each finalist will visit campus and participate in open public forums scheduled from Sept. 30 to Oct. 7.
