UM students turn economic summit into social media central
September 18, 2013 /
Social media central at the Montana Economic Development Summit was monitored closely by a small group of University of Montana students who worked for months to ensure that business leaders at the summit – and around the world – could connect to the ideas and information being shared during the two-day event in Butte.
The student volunteers were charged with vetting and implementing a host of event technology applications for the summit, which drew an impressive suite of all-star CEOs and was attended by roughly 4,000 people each day.
