President Cruzado commits $2 million toward MSU research shortfall

Montana State University President Waded Cruzado has pledged $2 million to cover most of MSU’s $3.5 million research shortfall and announced creation of a task force to figure out how to cover the remaining $1.5 million. Cruzado sent an email Friday to deans, department heads and researchers, saying she has committed $2 million from central MSU resources and emphasizing "my absolute support for the research component of our mission."
