Another Win for Team Great Falls!

This morning Health Care Service Corporation announced it is moving forward with a 100-150 person insurance operations center in Great Falls!

Renovations will start very soon on the Blue Cross Blue Shield building on 10th Avenue South. Hiring will begin near the end of the first quarter of 2014. These will be excellent primary sector jobs that complement our recent successes with manufacturing operations.

We began work on this project just short of a year ago through an east coast site selection firm that we’ve developed relations with over the years through our active membership in Corenet Global and the International Economic Development Council.

Many GFDA partners and investors played key roles in helping us win the site selection competition and then bring the project back to fruition. Great Falls College MSU, Great Falls Public Schools, the Great Falls Job Service, and Senators Baucus and Tester amongst others were a big help.

Most importantly, GFDA investors made it possible for us to work the lead and to stick with it.

This is another great win for Team Great Falls! Working together, I’m confident we’ll have more announcements soon to keep the momentum growing.
