IGNITE MONTANA 2013!

Are you a cutting-edge economic developer? Do you have a great economic development innovation you want to share with all of Montana? Here’s your chance to brag and make a difference!

The 2013 MEDA Fall Conference, to be held in Sidney, MT, October 2 – 4, will offer an exciting, fast-paced 60 minute IGNITE MONTANA! session that will feature the 12 most creative and effective economic development innovations in the state. Each economic development innovator will have 5 minutes to present their creative concept and the results it has produced. After the conference, the 12 innovations will be publicized throughout the state.

Here’s how it will work:

1) Each economic development innovation must have been put to work in Montana in the past year (you could have started it earlier) and produced results you can describe;

2) There is no limit to the number of innovations you can submit;

3) Submit your innovation using Submittable at this link: https://gfdevelopment.submittable.com/submit by September 18th;

4) Commit to attend the conference in person to present your innovation if it is chosen. Presentations will take place the morning of October 3rd;

5) The 12 most exciting innovations will be chosen for the Ignite session;

6) You will be notified by September 23rd if you have been chosen;

7) You can do anything you want for your presentation — props, handouts, PowerPoint, video or just your amazing self;

8) There’s only one rule — you have just 5 minutes to excite us with your innovation!
