Highlands College slates all-star speakers lineup. Attendance is open to students and community members

Guest speakers are coming to Highlands College-Montana Tech as part of a new course offered this fall that’s open to students and community members.

"20th Century Montana – People, Policies and Perspectives" will be held 5-6:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room 111 at Highlands College Aug. 27-Dec. 10.

The instructor is Evan Barrett, new to Montana Tech-Highlands College after serving 44 years in government. Most recently, he was Gov. Brian Schweitzer’s chief business development director for eight years. Barrett was executive director of the Butte Local Development Corp. for 18 years prior to joining Schweitzer.
