NEWEDC is a five county Economic Development District covering Converse, Niobrara, Weston, Crook and Campbell counties in Wyoming.

Considerable experience in economic and community development, including administrative responsibility; graduation from a four-year college or university, preferably with specialization in economic and community development or a related field; or any equivalent combination or experience and training. Knowledge of Economic Development Districts (EDD) and Economic Development Administration Grants and management is a plus and considerable knowledge of business development, community, and economic development. Prepares grant proposals and applications, contracts and other necessary documents as may be required for necessary community services.

Administers the NEWEDC Revolving Loan Program and North East Wyoming Economic Development Foundation. The ability to communicate effectively to groups and individuals, engineers, architects, contractors, developers, businesses, supervisors, employees, and the general public is vital and the ability to establish working relationships with other organizations and economic development practitioners. Budgeting experience is a must and the ability to prepare and analyze reports and data, and have skill in the operation of necessary office tools and equipment, management of websites a plus. Salary is based on experience and noted successes.
