i3 Academy Missoula – MCPS Academy wraps up, but student projects live on

Whether it’s setting up trailhead vending machines with bug spray, or filling potholes with recycled glass, Missoula County Public School students are proposing a raft of new ideas that have emerged from a pilot program that’s putting young minds to work solving problems.

Here’s one problem you’d like solved – Missoula’s never-ending battle with potholes. It costs not only tax money to fix them but hundreds of dollars to replace damaged tires and wheels. Students in the i3 Academy have a solution, filling the holes with "glassphalt".
