New executive director Christopher Shove at helm of Montana Business Assistance Connection
Christopher Shove will set foot on Montana soil for the first time this week and begin his new job as executive director of Montana Business Assistance Connection http://www.mbac.biz/ in Helena. Shove is relocating from Dearborn, Mo., with his wife, Ilona, to fill the position.
"I am excited about the prospect of being in Montana," said Shove, who has worked as a social scientist with the Army for the past year and a half. Shove recently spent nine months attached to a battalion stationed in Afghanistan, where he developed social, economic and governance reports based on information gathered by visiting villages and conducting surveys. He said the reports aided counter-insurgence strategies that organize and strengthen communities at risk.
