Venture Capital in the Rockies (VCIR) Fall 2013 Call for Presenting Companies

Please feel free to contact me if you have questions about this conference. I am on the board of RMVCA, the selection committee and have hosted these events in the past. It would be great to get a few Montana companies on the stage!

What: Venture Capital in the Rockies (VCIR) is the largest and oldest capital conference series in the Rocky Mountain region and includes both VCIR Winter, held in Colorado each year, and VCIR Fall, which moves across the states in the region from year to year. VCIR Fall, now in its sixth year and taking place in Utah, showcases the region’s most promising companies for an audience of over 150 venture investors and service professionals from around the region and across the country.

When: October 9, 10, and 11, 2013.

Where: Montage Deer Valley in Park City, Utah

Who: All emerging growth companies in the Rockies region (Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Montana, Nevada, Wyoming, and Idaho) that anticipate raising capital in 2013/2014 are encouraged to visit our Web site, fill out a short data form describing their company, and submit their executive summaries. Companies of all stages will be considered–from seed level start-ups to established companies looking for growth capital. All applications, outside of life sciences and real estate will be considered.

Why: VCIR has a demonstrated track record of introducing presenting companies to qualified capital sources.

• Since 2000, VCIR presenting companies have raised well over $5 billion.

• Over 60 venture capitalists attended last year’s VCIR Fall, including 20+ from venture firms on the West and East coasts.

How: The selection team has started reviewing submissions for presenting companies and will select the companies they feel are best qualified to present at this year’s conference. We will select 12-14 companies and expect to fill these slots in short order. The final date to submit plans is by 5:00 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2013.

Format: Visit our Web site http://www.vcirfall.com/presenters and fill out a short data form describing the company. The executive summary submitted with the form should fully describe the company’s business, market opportunity, competitors, competitive advantage, management team, and summary of historical and projected financials (not to exceed 4-6 pages in length).
