MRI grants at crossroad: McLaughlin Research institute a boon for students and teachers

For the past six years, science teachers have been provided research opportunities at McLaughlin Research Institute through a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. This is the final year for that grant, which allows teachers 10-week stints at MRI over two summers.
"The point of grants from Howard Hughes is to give grants to institutes like ours so we can train better teachers and provide science education to the community."
