Powell Economic Partnership, Inc. (PEP) was established to lead long term economic growth for a vibrant and sustainable community through uniting business, community and government to create wealth, jobs and improve the quality of life consistent with the culture and environment of the Powell Valley. The Executive Director will provide efficient, professional management and administration of a community-directed economic development program for the city and surrounding area of Powell, WY.

Powell, Wyoming is located in the beautiful Big Horn Basin of northwest Wyoming. It is a rural community with a rich agricultural and oil production history and a first class community college. Business owners benefit from a favorable tax structure and a small town atmosphere. Just a 72 mile drive from the east entrance to Yellowstone Park and minutes from many outdoor activities makes Powell an outstanding opportunity waiting for businesses and families.

The Executive Director is responsible for consistent analysis of current capabilities and opportunities in the Powell Valley, driving an environment for attracting new business and industry, and developing a system for ensuring existing business growth.

A Bachelor’s Degree, or comparable experience, is required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Two years of progressively responsible experience in economic development, or related field with demonstrated management experience is a minimum requirement.
