University of Montana approves themed housing

Three homes owned by the University of Montana will offer students living options unique to their interests starting next fall.

"We are trying to combine the two worlds of ‘in the classroom’ and ‘life outside the classroom,’" said ASUM Renter Center Director Katherine Brady. "We hope the themes will be able to inspire the UM campus and community."

UM approved the Theme House Initiative on April 10. It’s one step toward developing a themed living community for student groups and UM departments of all kinds to host students.
