Help connect students in Missoula with volunteer, internship and job shadow opportunities with Applied Learning Portal from MCPS.

The Missoula County Public Schools recently launched an online portal http://www.mcpsmt.org/appliedlearning designed to better link MCPS high school students with the wider Missoula community.

This project, called the Applied Learning Portal, aims to connect MCPS students seeking volunteer, internship, and job shadow opportunities with local professionals who are willing to offer such work-based learning experiences. Possible learning experiences include senior project mentorships, job shadowing, internships, field trips, and various other work-based opportunities.

Please contact Melanie Meuchel if you are interested in registering as a volunteer or learning more about how you can help MCPS develop this project. With your help, this portal will be a tremendous boon to our local community as we help our students develop as community members and professionals.

Please give Melanie Meuchel a call at (406) 728-2400 ext. 1030 or email her at [email protected] if you are interested in becoming a part of this exciting project.
