Teen app entrepreneur has his curiosity, business savvy to thank for this success

Ben Dennis lives the life of a successful businessman.

He owns Dennis Tech, a Fishers-based mobile application development company. He has made more than 30 apps that have been downloaded more than 500,000 times. He has earned tens of thousands of dollars.

He attends Fishers Chamber of Commerce events and networks with businesses across the country.

But the most impressive thing on his resume is his age: 17. The Hamilton Southeastern High School senior carefully budgets his time so he can balance Dennis Tech with homework and extracurricular activities. He uses his classmates as focus groups to test new apps and new ideas, and he hires some of them to be his salespeople.
