Montana Career Opportunity – GIS Database Engineer – Hunting GPS Maps

Hunting GPS Maps is a Missoula based company in need of a Full-Time Backend Developer with Database experience. We are rapidly growing company that requires the ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment. Now is your chance to join our team.

Qualifications: The position requires a BS/BA in computer science, or related field, and 2-5 years of database experience. The qualified person will have database development and management experience. Experience in the GIS arena is highly desirable. Must have experience using databases to automate the extracting, transforming, and loading of data.

Skills: SQL, Excel, Python, Google Refine, ArcGIS, regular expression, postgresql, ArcGIS, Arc Server, Oracle.
Duties: Collaboration on the development of GPS maps and Apps for recreational use. Using SQL to manipulate data. Organizing data on an ArcServer for use in different divisions of the company. Data editing and maintenance. Research and development of mapping on new platforms. MySQL, PHP.

Location / Days / Hours: Company is based out of Missoula, Montana. Will work 40 hours per week, generally day shift, M-F. Must relocate or live in the Missoula Area.
Pay/ Benefits: $30-$60K Depending on experience. Paid sick leave and holidays. Health care and retirement benefits.
