Grad school matters more not less

There are two things I never say to my career coaching clients. The first is: It’s OK to quit your job. Why? Changing careers takes time; you need income; and you don’t want to intentionally create empty space on your resume.

The second piece of advice you won’t hear is: You will never need more education. Why? Because in today’s world, everyone must be a lifelong learner. That includes anyone with a job as well as anyone looking for a job.
