Butte-Silver Bow Chief exec touches on issues: Budget matters, Hocking probe

A quicker, more reader-friendly budgeting process is on the horizon for Butte-Silver Bow — just as soon as the local government’s administration figures out how to make it happen.
During the chief executive’s report at the beginning of the Wednesday night meeting, Matt Vincent outlined some of the strategies the county will use to make "far-reaching changes" to the budget.
He’s previously said he wants the budget document to be transparent and readable so taxpayers can see exactly where their hard-earned money is going.
