California pension fund invests in historic buildings in Dillon, Montana
January 6, 2013 /
Operators of a California pension fund are buying a number of historic buildings in Dillon, including the old Mary Innes School.
The purchaser, Old Town Improvement Group, is headed by Dr. John Micha. The group functions as a pension fund for the dozens of employees of Gynecologic Oncology Associates in Newport Beach, Calif., where Dr. Micha practices. The school is the fourth historic building the group, or one of its subsidiaries, has purchased in downtown Dillon in the past seven months.
