Plans are moving ahead for a new $24 million steel fabrication plant on Great Falls’ north end by Canadian-based ADF International, Deputy City Manager Jennifer Reichelt said Tuesday night.
The company plans to begin operating in the second half of the year, employing more than 100 people to start and upping the number to 300 within three years, she said. City commissioners Tuesday night voted 5-0 to apply for a state Big Sky Trust grant of $832,500 for the project and use the Great Falls Development Authority as a sub-recipient.
