NorthWestern Energy Community Works Fund Contributes Nearly $110,000 to Non-profits Across Montana and More Than $44,000 to Non-profits in South Dakota and Nebraska

NorthWestern Energy donated $109,739 during the third quarter of 2012 to local charitable organizations across Montana through its Community Works Fund.

A wide variety of organizations across NorthWestern’s six Montana operating divisions received funding, including the Billings Clinic Foundation, the Museum of the Rockies, Butte Mile-Hi Lions Charities, Great Falls Fireworks Forever, Student Assistance Foundation in Helena, Flathead FFA, and the Montana Food Bank Network. All told, 114 nonprofit organizations received donations during the quarter.

NorthWestern Energy Community Works Fund Contributes More Than $44,000 to Non-profits in South Dakota and Nebraska

Sioux Falls, S.D. – Nov. 6, 2012 – NorthWestern Energy donated $44,066 during the third quarter of 2012 to local charitable organizations in South Dakota and Nebraska service areas through its Community Works Fund.

A wide variety of organizations received funding this past quarter, including the Boys and Girls Club of Aberdeen; the South Dakota 4-H Foundation; Huron Optimist Backpack Program; Kearney Good Samaritans Society; Wings of Hope Cancer Fund; University of Nebraska Foundation; Sioux Falls Helpline Center and the Yankton Area Literacy Council. All told, more than 54 nonprofit organizations received donations from in the quarter.
