Caravan Skis: Living (and working) the dream in Bozeman, Montana

Bozeman, Montana has been drawing powder-loving ski fiends from across the country to the steep peaks that surround the town for generations. The lure of the epic skiing and a vibrant community has earned Bozeman the impressive ranking of the "best place to live in the West for skiing" from Outside Magazine in 2010, and led to a top spot in National Geographic’s "World’s Top 25 Ski Towns." It’s only natural that a sweet ski spot like Bozeman, in one of the nation’s most entrepreneurial states, would lead to a trend of young entrepreneurs putting their talents to work creating the gear they want for the winter pursuits they love most.

Zeph Hollowell, founder of Caravan Skis http://caravanskis.com/ , is one of the Montanans living his dream while he builds a business he’s passionate about. Zeph first caught the ski bug as a kid growing up in Concord, New Hampshire, and later, as a student at the University of Vermont. After graduating from UVM in 2010 he moved to Salt Lake City to enjoy the deep, light powder of the West. After a season in Utah, Zeph answered Montana’s siren call and made the move to Bozeman.
