Montana Career Opportunity – Media Group Marketing Director – NBC Montana

NBC Montana is looking for an experienced and goal-oriented Marketing Manager to create and lead marketing efforts for Bonten Media Group’s NBC television properties: KECI, Missoula; KTVM, Bozeman/Butte; and KCFW, Kalispell, as well as related digital sub-channels and new media initiatives.

Minimum of 2 years experience as a Marketing or Promotions Manager. Ideal candidate will be capable of handling multiple tasks. Responsible for day-to-day station and digital marketing and promotions development as well as budgeting, supervision and hiring of marketing and promotions personnel, and complete production of stations’ promotional announcements. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organization and time management skills are a must . Analytical ability to understand and utilize market research, ratings, and other industry information. Experienced in writing, producing, lighting, shooting, and editingpromotional announcements. Proficient in television production and post production. Understanding of media and marketing terminology, television, print and radio advertising. Proficient in computer software applications such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and AP’s ENPS or similar newsroom system. Timeline based editing system experience similar to Edius or Avid is required. Experience with Adobe After Effects is a plus.
