Hill unveils education, tax plan

Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Hill on Wednesday unveiled a set of proposals aimed at funding education and local government infrastructure and reducing property taxes.

Hill, speaking to a gathering of the Montana Taxpayers Association, said his plan would increase investment in public education by relying more heavily on increased revenues from coal, oil and natural gas development in the state.
