Goldman Sachs invests $4M for loans to Montana small businesses

What’s an enormous global banking firm doing in little ol’ Montana?

As of this week, investing $4 million in small businesses.

The loans are part of a $500 million program instituted three years ago by Goldman Sachs. They’ll be channeled through the Missoula-based Montana Community Development Corp. http://www.mtcdc.org/ , which invited Goldman Sachs to its new downtown digs Wednesday afternoon for a news conference.
